John and Brian - July 31, 2004

Finally catch the "Big One"

On the last day of July, John and Brian took a casual boat ride down near Ducket Mill and were trolling back toward the boat club when Brian got a big strike.  The striped bass weighed in at 9.5 lbs. and would not fit in the net.    John also caught a 4.5 lb. striper near by.

We grilled the fish and had a feast that Cheryl, Dan, Jennifer and David enjoyed with us.  Here are pictures of the catches.  (That is John's new fishing boat that they were in.)
